I owned one! A 5" bbl. Magna stocks. 98% finish. No box or papers. Needed some timing adjustment - got a little lead splash upon firing. BUT, she was in the safe when it was stolen... :- ( Thanks for the memories!
Nope. None of the firearms, the credit cards, birth certificate, nothing. I suspect the Fort Knox safe is in Mexico, still unopened. (I still have the handle and dial they pried off!) :- )

Great line! I’ve seen your S&W and it’s a beauty too. The 27-2 was the zenith of the N-frame 357 design. It still had the desirable features like the pinned barrel and recessed cylinders together with the later design revisions that made it a better tool. If you ever had an S&W ejector rod back out on you at the wrong time you know what I mean. The Smith 3 ½ 357 is my favorite revolver ever. I’ve owned several over the years. I must be getting old, I remember nearly 20 years ago when almost nobody wanted them, now it seems like everyone does.

I have a much later scion of the same line, a barely pre-Bangor Punta 27-2.
